Wasn’t it? 3,300 or so, amazing. Me and the good lady set off on our pub bikes at midday for a few beers and rolled up at about 2.30, snuck a few cans of Dark Star and 4 litres of water in with us and drank the lot by half time, it was steaming. I didn’t expect to be so nervous tbh, but the equaliser settles the nerves. Should have won it in normal time, I thought. But that winning spot kick was worth the wait. Glad you made the effort!

I'm a Fulham fan so have had the highs and the crushing lows, I celebrated just the same as when Fulham beat Juve, might have been a tear but it could have been the sinusitis...Hate penalties and never watched them. Been to far more Hamlet games over the last 5/6 years then Fulham ones. I get that same buzz go to the Hamlet that I did when I first started going to any match way back when.

Well done Sparky on managing to only get one team relegated. You absolute cunt.
Shame about the Baggies. Heres hoping they stick with Darren Moore and bounce back.

Newcastle fan (dad is a Geordie), went to 4 matches in Championship last season (3 away, 1 home) but the costs of club membership vs tickets you get access to/PL & Sky mangling fixture list/shit summer transfer window/perpetual fear Benitez will pack it all in Keegan-style meant I didn't renew this year, so next-to-no chance of getting tickets for any away games that are on a normal day (Saturday 3pm) and travel costs are bullshit. Funnily enough, a friend of a friend who I met recently goes to a lot of games and he kindly sorted me a ticket for Spurs tonight.
TL;DR, like you and @jj72 DHFC does the job for me. Initially was something I went to as my closest football team when I moved to Camberwell in 2014 but then kept going because, as is well advertised, it's mint.
Wondered early in the game how I'd feel if they won, would it matter as much as a Newcastle promotion etc, but I forgot all that pretty quickly and just had a blast, along with everyone else.

He’s replacing Big Fat Sam at Everton, no?

DHFC fans. I feel the need to represent. As a Tooting fan I am obviously gutted you won and so compounded the misery of relegation. Making the ground look busy is also quite rude behaviour from a guest. Good luck in the South.

Liverpool to lose and Chelsea to win next weekend?
Would put a fair amount on pressure on Liverpool to win the CL in order to qualify for next year...

Not gonna happen, seriously...
Disappointed that Hazard and Giroud started on the bench tonight...

So champions league participation secured for next season, only issue currently is which pot we’re drawn in for the group stages.
It seems we need Real Madrid to do us a favour and deny Liverpool in the final for us to get a more “favourable” seeding.
Well I for one know who I’ll be supporting..

Teddy Sheringham quote of the day
I couldn’t bring myself to watch the first two Hamlet penalties, but got up for the rest. I filmed the last Hendon kick, and then the winner, marvellous scenes. I can’t recall enjoying myself at a game so much for ages, I’m a Leyton Orient fan so I’ve had a grim few years. Odd that Hamlet are now only 1 league below the O’s. I think I’ll be attending more Hamlet games than the O’s next season to be honest.
