Here’s my stock Arkose, did a good 70km of gravel and road on it today, aside from the need for a slight gear adjustment, can’t really fault it.

I think it sounds fun, you should try it. I don't know much about them but I do know that it uses an eccentric bottom bracket to get the tension right so you'd need a compatible crankset, factor that in

Internal cable routing might be awkward with the two rohloff shift cables

It uses an oversize, eccentric bb shell so you can run any crankset if I'm not mistaken.
