It she kind of thing that tin pot dictators do. It has an air of Kim Jon Un's golfing claims.
No wonder the latter is scared of Trump. He has met his nutter match.
-
• #5578
To be fair to Mr Kim, I'm pretty sure the claims were about his father, not him. The rest of the shit though...

Mueller threatened to subpoena Trump leading to chaos in DT's legal team. Now they have 49 questions that Mueller wants answered.

He wrote his own doctor's letter
Get this fuckwit out FFS
-
• #5581
i bet he's got a framed dr. donald trump m.d. certificate for doctoring bigly from trump university hanging on his wall somewhere... so he's perfectly qualified to comment on his own health
-

I'm not a legal expert but is it a good sign when your main lawyer (John Dowd) resigns very shortly after the possibility of Trump being forced to testify was discussed in March? And no other major law firm would take the case either? Asking for a friend.

This isn't even the same doctor who said he could live to 200 if skipped a burger or two.

Oooff... imagine how much he will start rambling on some of those questions. You would need to set aside weeks to get trough all of these. At the end he will have contradicted himself and changed direction so many times that you'll be none the wiser as to whether he has confessed guilt or not.

Trump isn't taking this well
-
• #5586
Ha ha, ANOTHER lawyer checks out. Ty Cobb retiring.
-
• #5587
wow, so trump did lie about paying hush money to stormy daniels, who'd have thought it
my belief in him becoming one of the great american presidents is beginning to wane

Snowflake!

Just turned on the radio and the news announced that Trump has been nominated to the Nobel peace price. I give up.
-
• #5590
Worth mentioning that a nomination is just that, but still
-
• #5591
Again? They've got at least one earlier that they regard as fake.

Suggests the nominator is seeking to prove his credentials as 'the' true follower of Trumpdom. -
• #5593
If, and it's a big if, it can be shown that he has been the prime instigator in a future Korean peninsula peace, he would deserve it.
Also, if it can be shown that I am the curer of all cancer, I deserve a Nobel too.
My breath is not being held on either front.
-
• #5594
Guessing the nomination is partly a swipe at Obama for getting the Nobel for doing nothing other than not being Republican.
-
• #5595
Giuliani appears to be doing his best to match Trump for putting his foot in it.
The suggestion is that Trump repaid Coehn the $130,000 cover up money, but of tranches of less than $10,000 in order to avoid reporting requirements. A crime in itself, reportedly.
-
• #5596
Meh, Giuiliani is probably just deliberately deflecting attention from something worse.
-
• #5597
Whilst objectionable, I don't think Giuliani is stupid - it won't have been an accidental reveal, and I'm sure he appreciates exactly the likely consequences of the admission.
Presumably there's been some calculation that admitting to it now is less painful (or stops off an avenue of attack for Mueller) than allowing it to carry on or being forced to open up about it later.
-
• #5598
IIRC anyone can write in and nominate someone for the Nobel Peace Prize.
George Bush Jr. was nominated every year. -
• #5599
I imagine someone within the Republican hierarchy has a large wall calendar with the Mid-Term elections multiply highlighted. Previous TeamTrump actions/lies/mis-leading statements are being measured on a damage now versus damage in the run up to the elections.
Maybe 6 months is thought to be long enough for fundamental Christian Trump voters to forget their guy paid for sex with an adult entertainment star. -
• #5600
Yes, I'm sure you're right.
I'd like to think also that he must be getting a bit hot under the collar about ending up in prison (or worse, FIRED!) at some point; a bunch of his associates' actions must be viewed as responses to corruption investigations.
The astonishingly excellent health letter is here
https://www.scribd.com/doc/293266718/Donald-Trump-s-Health-Record
The good doctor now says: "That's black humor, that letter. That's my sense of humor," he said. "It's like the movie 'Fargo': It takes the truth and moves it in a different direction."
