Cool :) bike looks lovely

Thanks. It feels a bit weird being all retro but I am getting really fond of this bike. I imagine it will stay with me for a very long time.
Just need to get the lights and mudguards sorted.
First real test is 226km tomorrow. -

Wonderful stuff,
I look forward to a few more pictures from the cargo.Paul Neo retro are worth the extra money,
I pushed them to their limit all along last summer in Corsica,
I was very impressed.I should have known as I run their Mafac anscestors on a 650 tandem,
and regular cantis on a 700 tandem,
the bite is still there even with the added weight.
They do foul panniers placement. -

Thanks. There is a set of neo retros for me I believe on a bike we built for SSCXWC. Should be good with an upgrade. I could hardly stop this weekend.
I cycled home from Bristol on it yesterday. 230 something kms. Bike performed well.Photos of the cargo bike will be taken once it returns from Bespoked.

Sundaze are for framebuilding.
I have started K's mini rando. I am quite excited about this one. So many new things for me.
Flatmount, 26" wheels and custom forks.

following very eagerly all your builds. maybe you can use the new frame as an excuse for that demo video of filet brazing? thanks!
-
• #622
Yeah. I'll will do that.
Not as an instruction video but as a "this is how I do".
I am self-taught and still fairly new at this :) -

I made some progress on the forks today. Sanding is a perfect thing to do when it is quiet in the workshop, but you still need to help out students here and there.

How does a crown race sit on those?
Edit: Very nice, by the way! -
• #625
Thanks. I haven't soldered the crown race ring on there yet. I am going to check frame with wheels on tomorrow before determining where crown race should be placed.
I haven't actually measured everything after it has all been built but it should be 50ish.
