most of my riding is road - if I'm riding gravel for any length of time (ie, more than the odd road here or there) then it'll be a planned ride on gravel as dry as I can get it.
I hate riding wet gravel as it kills bikes. Last time I wore through a set of fairly new metal pads in 30km. The entire group was beset by mechanicals.
Besides, putting some new tires on a tubeless wheelset isn't really much of a ball ache. Not as much of a ballache as walking 5 miles cause you've used all 4 of your tubes on pinch flats or getting smashed around cause you have to run high pressure to avoid said pinch flats.
I heart tubeless, especially for gravel!
