@5awyr The whole assembly comes out easily enough, but it's messy and makes the lever rattle around.
Climber buttons have a controller in them and it's a faff splitting them up. Sprinter buttons are easier, but you still have to splice them to make them longer. Again. Faff. Fun to hack though.
I ran a 1x di2 hydro system. I just reprogrammed the buttons to do different things. At a later date, I had a mate go even more wizardry and edit some shiz to allow me to control aspects of the Garmin. Now that was pretty fucking neat.
I believe someone on here did something with the climber's button thingies that sit on the tops (I don't know anything about Di2, leave me alone!) and single-speed levers, instead of brifters. If you're riding gravé stuff that setup would be suboptimal but probably fine. Pair up with TRP Hylex.
