Online is a good starting point usually.
Are you in France by any chance?

So that's for frame and forks only or a full bike?

Oh look! I found some actual picture of the omnium cxc by extensively looking online for about 12.2 seconds!
That google thing really is impressive, isn't it?

It really doesn't take very long to find a mtb frame for 26" wheels with horizontal tt and dropouts.
With a little ingenuity you could easily build a budget version of your inspo bike from either of the frames I linked or if there's a bicycle recycling charity near you, there's probably plenty of similar frames there. You may even find one with 1 1/8" headtube.

I am in France indeed.
That’s for frame and forks and it’s my maximum for it.
That google thing is impressive but it doesn’t tell me what the tire clearance with 26" wheels is.

None of these frame have horizontal dropouts though. But thanks for helping out.

You might also like this cxc with beefier fork. 650b. Ask the tire clearance from omnium.

Are you in Paris? If so, you could check out the Genesis day one in a Cyclable Shop.
Also, you might find this interesting:

The 2 I posted do. Forward facing but still horizontal.
You want proper track ends? Cough up the £££.

Also, for example, this Day one can fit 700c*40 tires as shown in the following picture. I'm sure this will fit bigger tires with smaller wheels. There are a few threads mentionning the Day One and/or threads for Day Ones on sale. You could ask there.

Ultimately, that is correct ^
Alternatively:
- learn to weld and DIY
- ask a welder/mechanic to modify an old frame
- Magic Ratio

Leader Pharaoh is too expensive or not, BB too high or low, probably not compatible with BMX cranks or is, doesn't have both disc brakes and canti break mounts and caliper brakes in case OP gets bored, dropouts are not pretty enough or are too ugly or not totally horizontal, and will most likely require an infinitesimal amount of research and/or work, which the OP does not seem to keen on doing.

Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

Is there any reason this wouldn't work?
F+F is around £250 so maybe a little pricey.
http://archie-wilkinson.co.uk/products/white-cycle-speedway-bike/If you wanted brakes you could get bosses added by a frame builder? Or maybe something like this?
Am i missing something?

It's too red.

This is absolutely perfect! No sloping, compact geometry, horizontal dropouts, tire clearance, 1" 1/8 headtube!
Thank you!
Now I need to order only the frame.

• #145
Thanks a lot but I guess this will have too few tire clearance for what i am thinking of
-
• #146
Thanks a lot for that picture. Enlightens well the wheel size differences
-
• #147
I am looking for proper track dropouts for better adjustment and aesthetic.
Thank you

• #148
That is what I thought also but the difference is not that big.

• #149
I wish I could learn to weld

Thanks a lot but I let the FGFS option go as it is not a good geometry to ride it on a distance. Thanks a lot though!
I would like to be sure of that tire clearance as that frame could be exactly what I am looking for. And I still have no news from Marino...
