Full frame bag or saddle bag ( what ever style you prefer Restrap/ PDW / carradice), you could just use a Carradice support and strap it on that in its bag.
If you must use a rear rack get Tubus with the disc adaptors, or even a disc specific one.

I am open to bike packing though because I'd rather not have the weight of a rack and I could use the setup (or some of it) on my road bike too.
I need to look into bag options more.
