Fucking works for AWS (yay) but likes ServiceNow. #pukedalittle

Oh, well he'll definitely be clean then.
For sure, Australians always act ethically :)
Wonder if he's discovered this thread yet?
I'm just jealous he's putting out twice as many Watts as me.

I did an AWS Sysops course in December, and guess who my tutor was!!

Looks to have removed the post unless I'm blind.

Lance settles the USPS case for $5m
-
• #7434
Cheap.
-
• #7435
I bet his legal fees are at least twice that though.

Getting it done before Trump is evicted...

Landis gets a million bucks plus 1.5mil to settle his legal fees.
Ouch.

The lawyers in the Armstrong case will be gutted this has wrapped up so neatly. They’ve missed out on a big payday there.
Is he still facing lawsuits from other sponsors?
-
• #7440
You think? Given the number of lawyers he hired, and off the top of my head I can think of four, and how long this has been running, I'd imagine they are a) very well renumerated and b) happy it has been settled and they aren't on the losing side.
-
• #7441
Ahh - I didn’t realise this was the 2010 suit filed (bizarrely) by Landis. It has dragged on in that case.
I’d be very surprised if this was the end of it. Every sponsor will presumably get in line for a payday.
-
• #7442
I can’t see any sponsor successfully suing, they won’t be able to counter Armstrong’s defence that they turned a blind eye.
I think that’s the end of it. He’s managed to finish on a winning note too, as a $5 million settlement is definitely a victory for him.
Let’s hope he fucks off into obscurity now.
It won’t happen though.

He's already settled the major ones, and it's surprising the US Gov settled this for so little if they could have scored 100 mil. Wouldn't be surprised if Lance has been making some strategic donations to the Republican party, or maybe they just realised that they'd never actually recoup that much cash because he's put it all in trusts and shell companies...
At any rate, the lawyers always get paid regardless, don't they?
-
• #7444
They always get paid. But they like it to be as protracted and messy and possible because they get paid more.
-
• #7445
He’s managed to finish on a winning note too
Just like he did in winning seven Tours des Frances. Cor.

Enough talk about Lance and doping for World Tours, I’m much more interested in doping for Regents Park lap times.
Considering getting on the juice so I can shave minutes off my morning commute

I’m holding out for the cybernetic implants
-
• #7448
Seriously. What is the cycling press' obsession in sticking mics in front of convicted dopers for their opinions. I literally give zero shits in what he has to say.
-
• #7449
This. Never click on a lance article. Never.

Still hate people calling him Lance. It's like Boris - makes him seem like a character above normal people, not to be judged the same way as everyone else.
Oh, well he'll definitely be clean then.
