Bit of progress on the brat project. Replaced the bent/ rotten cross member with a bit of 40x60x2mm box. It's a bit agricultural, but I'd rather slightly overbuild , in case if another front-end. Not really adding any weight, and the whole car is really nice and straight again. The photo is of a dry-fit this morning. All welded in now, with plates and guests. Will take more photos of progress . Most of the chassis work is done: I had a welder friend come and do some of the more critical, structural work on a rotten axle hanger today. The rest of it I've done myself. Wheels are currently away being blasted and powder coated white, and I've ordered a new set of Goodyear tyres for when they're done. From bumper design is pretty much finalised all going to be epoxy fibreglass, and delta integrale inspired.
