Sounds like he might have fired Rosenstein (or at least it will happen tonight)

Makes sense in a cynical way. Attempt distraction with a big missile assault on Syria - he got a nice PR boost from that last time.

Not Rosenstein but another Trump confidante stumbles

More on Cohen and his denial on ever visiting Prague;

Did Trump lawyer Michael Cohen secretly visit Prague to meet with Russians in 2016? The future of Donald Trump’s presidency could hinge on whether the answer to that question is yes.
Meh, Cohen is in some shit. Trump will be fine.
-
• #5482
I'm not so sure - it would appear Cohen only has one client, so why is he visiting Prague and then denying it? What's he trying to hide?
-
• #5483
I don't know and it doesn't really matter. Cohen will take the fall, Trump will plead ignorance/innocence. And then Cohen will be pardonned at the end of Trump's presidency.
The saga won't affect Trump's base or his 40% approval rating.

At some point the evidence of criminality will be such that enough Republicans will cut their ties with him. It may be that the cover up does that, but is is increasingly clear that Mueller is finding enough evidence to bring substantial charges against many in the Trump administration, and probably Trump himself.
The question is, will he fire Mueller before the Republicans reach tipping point?

Trump has pardoned someone for leaking information to the media while he attacks people on twitter for leaking information to the media. Wait wut?
-

Is Sessions next to go? A new Attorney General could overrule Rosenstein and "redirect" Mueller.
Trump says:The Attorney General made a terrible mistake when he recused himself, or he should have certainly let us know if he was going to recuse himself and we would have put a different attorney general in. So he made what I consider a very terribke mistake for the country.

Comey has also blamed Sessions for failing to protect him and FBI. -

Sean Hannity was Michael Cohen's client. Not enough chevrons.
-
• #5490
He had been vigorously attacking the Cohen probe but didn’t declare any conflict of interest, and now he is trying to distance himself from Cohen. How corrupt are these idiots?

"Not my lawyer, just asked him about legal stuff so I can haz privilege?"
-
• #5492
I thought to enjoy legal privilege you have to at least make a symbolic transaction of a dollar/cent/whatever to enter into that contract?
-
• #5493
What else can you expect when Freddo is in charge?
-
• #5494
Hannity's busy on twitter at the moment, he should probably not be doing that.
Almost exclusively? what does that mean? Wait a minute, real estate?
-
• #5495
It's going to be a footnote in history but Michael Cohen got his law degree at the worst Law School in America
-
• #5496
Not Trump University?
-
• #5497
You can't get real degrees at fake universities...
-
• #5498
FAKE news. Trump University rivalled Harvard, Yale and all those other Ivy League establishments, it was Crooked Hilary who told lies to close it.

Ha!
I can't tell if we're sick of winning or draining the swamp right now but it feels great.
