  • A Quiet Place was dog pooh but it was better than Ghost Stories. Paul Whitehouse story was good but just went down the pan after that. Felt proper cheated.
Never mind, Rampage next. I love those animal documentaries

  • Anyone have any recommendations for decent psychological Horror/Ghost Story films on general online rental?

  • 1922 on netflix is supposed to be good...

  • Bone Tomahawk.

  • ^ jesus that movie shit me right up.

  • 1408 if you haven't seen it already.

  • Jacob's Ladder has a particularly good scene in it involving a hospital gurney.

  • I can't unsee that film. I would recommend his other film 'Brawl in Cell Block 99.'

  • That movie is one hell of a ride. Loved it, but probably never want to see it again.

  • I’m going to stand up for ‘Isle of Dogs’ here, really enjoyed it as did my 12 and 14 yr old kids. I guess it depends on your expectations? Stunning stop frame animation and the expected Wes Anderson attention to detail and mid century aesthetic. My favourite dog movie since ‘Old Yeller’ and to be fair, that had a lot of tear moments.

  • Booked Black Panther for the 4th time (not seen it yet, things keep getting in the way)
    Is it worth the effort?

  • I'm looking forward to it, the book is bonkers, the film should be more so

  • Suddenly got the urge to watch The Dead Zone... What's not to love about Christopher Walken in a Cronenberg movie?

  • PSA - Escape from New York has just started on SyFy channel.
The best John Carpenter/ Kurt Russell collab since The Thing.

  • Second best theme tune as well.

  • avnegors infinititty wars: as much of an ordeal it is to be sat in a packed cinema it's still amusing to be surrounded by people so invested in what's going on in front of them there are collective jeers, whoops of joy and gasps of shock. sure these movies are all drivel but for sheer entertainment value, you can't go wrong.

  • I was a bit surprised when people started applauding various characters turning up, as if they were surprised by the Avengers turning up in an Avengers movie.

  • yeah but what an entrance. pow! boom! wallop! fzzzzzzshoooom!

    etc.

  • if you want movie to laugh AT, pick holes in every 30 seconds, bad dialogue, illogical special effects and the very worst acting

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2518848/reviews?ref_=tt_urv

500MPH Storm ..... couldn't help myself from switching away because it was soo bad , but then switching back just to remind myself how bad it really was

    5/7 would (n't ) would watch again

  • Loves me some Casper Van Dien, almost everything he is in is terrible (won't hear a bad word said against Starship troopers though)

I see it's on Prime, I'll check it out one day...

  • do / don't

  • Good review, pretty much sums up my experience! It was great fun.

  • Isle of Dogs - technically amazing looking and some nice touches but ultimately left me lightly entertained and nothing more.

  • ^ it's that man that makes movies for insufferably tone deaf white people who dress their kids in native american indian headdresses, attend supper clubs and order things called 'babycinos' isn't it?

    bleurgh.
