Went to the coffee fest yesterday, enjoyed it more than last year, wasn't as insanely hot and not quite as crowded. (I was on an industry freebie though, I still refuse to pay for a trade day!) Realised the same thing I realise every year, that I'm really not interested in 90% of the stuff there. Always go, as there are heaps of people I want to see and chat to, but wasn't really wowed by anything.
Got a sweet party bag from Square Mile, drank a very very tasty beverage from Coffee Collective, drank some tasty stuff from Minor Figures, heckled some peeps & picked up a bunch of pin badges and stickers.
Fav spot of the day was the Hasbean pop-up though, and you don't need a festival ticket for it as it's on Commercial Street. If you're in the area, check it out for sure. Look for the red balloon! It's just outside the church? Also, Brooklyn Coffee had some banging Tanzanian espresso.
