Can be caused by a number of things but two of my watches have that sound as a result of the second hand resonating as it ticks.
I kind of like it as a quirk, so long as it is not a symptom of a fault. Certainly sounds like resonating/vibration.
I think my Rolex Sub does it actually. I'm quite fond of it too.
Some movements are louder than others, and some ping. They tend to be louder when they are running with good amplitude which can be a good sign. Smiths lever escarpments are loud.
