Got a pair of them off of here. What size are you interested in? I'm following some NIB ones on ebay.

Even toe Blakey's are a pain these days.

In other shoes I’m a pretty regular UK 10 but was reading reviews of Redwings and some people said they come up narrow hence was going to take a trip to the shop to get fitted properly, especially if I’m spending £200+.

That is what I did too. I found they fit quite true to size and not particularly narrow. Maybe worth trying in store for size and then seeing what you can get online.
I picked up some new chukkas for ~100 and some moc toes for 175

Did you get sent down? Harsh...

I've not seen a set of their boots in person but if the build quality is anything like the trousers they'll be ace, properly hard wearing stuff. As an owner of a motorbike with a right side gear change the option for having the extra layer on the right foot is great, that said I'd probably go without the patch as I prefer the looks.

They look really nice (better than that slightly odd RW look). Plus UK made.
One thing the description didn't mention is if there's a steel toe. You might want to check that.
Not sure I'd want them on a bike. It's a lot of money for something without a heel or ankle protection, especially when there are plenty of proper motorbike boot cos doing similar things.

I've lost a pair of Cheaneys in the garage somewhere.

I have steel toe cap boots at work I put on when I have to move stuff, but would never wear them day to day, too heavy.

overheard in waitrose etc....

Have you got their trousers? Really like their moleskin ones, tempted to get a pair
-
• #5838
Sadly not! I bought some as a present and was massively impressed though, they're on the list when I can afford some. Would love a set of the moleskins and a set of the lighter weight sand ones too.

What size are you? I have some Meermin black Oxfords that don't quite fit. 9.5 UK I think, will check if you're interested.
-
• #5847
I think I'd be 11 based on their chart. Shame
I'm 45-6 eu normally
-
• #5848
Yeah, they're a bit small on me and I'm normally 44

If you are interested in buying a 34 /32 pair in blue then let me know.
I have a pair of the above but they don't quite work for me . Washed a couple of times but worn little.

I am looking for a pair of size 9 black oxfords... what would you want for them?
Lennon's are happy to do custom orders, so you could order any of their boots in that black rough kip leather and with a commando sole. It would probably be cheaper than the HebTroCos, but the flip side is they might be a bit more rough and ready; I get the impression Lennon have higher QA standards for the stuff they make under contract for other labels.
I view Lennon's stuff like Carradice - solid designs, British-made, hard-wearing, sometimes a bit agricultural, but fundamentally very good value. My next pair of boots will probably be one of their B5 replicas, but I think I'll wuss out and go for rubber half soles rather than hobnails...
