I've been given two of my father's watches. Any idea of value for insurance purposes?
The first is a Rolex Tudor Oyster Elegante steel 7960. The s/n is in the 280,000 range.
The second is a gold plated Tissot. No markings on the case but would have been bought in the 60's.

Quick look on Chrono24 suggest £1,500-2,000 for the Tudor.
Beautiful watch.
Thanks for the replies. Wisely I've left them back at the folks in the safe.
Going to have to see what the home insurance covers.
Little shocked about the value of the Tudor!
