Interesting! I sold an oyster very similar to that about 7 or 8 years ago, for WAAAAY less than it appears they are worth now.
I also have one of those tissot seastars that I wore to my wedding. boxed and everything it as about £120. I think it is the solid gold ones that are quite rare and valuable. I will be stoked if it is now a £500 watch...
I've been given two of my father's watches. Any idea of value for insurance purposes?
The first is a Rolex Tudor Oyster Elegante steel 7960. The s/n is in the 280,000 range.
The second is a gold plated Tissot. No markings on the case but would have been bought in the 60's.
