Ugh, sometimes I hate bikes. The frame/fork/headset is an old Motobecane thing so I'm guessing they've used the French standard. Sounds correct as Sheldon says the French ones are filed flat rather than grooved.
What are the chances that it has an Italian threaded BB that doesn't fit my BSA stuff then?
