@farewell Yeah, there are still a few students around here but they've got exams or something so maybe they're not ordering food. There were only two restaurants (2 deliveries from each) that I went to so perhaps there aren't many places to order from here. No big deal, I'll just give it a go in one of the other zones, it's not much further.
re. other riders I only saw 1 all night! And no chance to chat to him as we were both delivering stuff. But I will definitely speak to others in the other zones.
@miro_o I might try that zone again but I'll try one of the others first. Really I think it was just a lack of people ordering food in the area. Finding each of the places was easy even with my dodgy GPS, my delivery times were 7/9/10/13 minutes, wait times appear to have been 10/14/19/25 minutes! I'm not sure that 25 is accurate though, didn't feel like I was there that long.
Bit of experimentation with zones, bits on the bike, rucksacks and so on and I'll be reet! I'm not starving/homeless - I have no income but am living on my savings for a few months, and this is just a bit of a top up on the side. So it's not the end of the world to have a bad shift.
