    What do you need it for? I managed a year round Lat Am. with a decent 7" tablet, other half managed almost equally well with a reconditioned Tesco hudl. For the few times we struggled we were able to use a hotel/hostel PC.

    That said, if you need a laptop for work I don't think a cheap tablet will cut it. If its watching videos and games then get a 7-8" tablet - 10" is too big imo, a 7" will fit in your pockets (if you're a guy), and is lighter and easier to hold.

  • Yeah nothing much, just watching a bit of telly and looking up places to visit. A small tablet would probably be a good shout.

  • There should be loads of options out there.

    I got mine a while back so can't really recommend anything.

    SD slot is useful. If not then get a little dongle so you can plug a USB drive in to keep your films etc. on. +32gb does help, but not the end of the world.
