• Bigger wheels/tyres would help slightly with the revs. Do you really care though, are you foreseeing long m-way drives? In general my armchair advice would be get it driving first then make your own assessment.

  • I need 5 new tyres before I get it back on the road, so need to make a decision sooner rather than later.
    It will be a daily driver, and will run up and down the dual carriageway quite regularly. I'd prefer it to be comfortable on the motorway- will help the mpgs too!

  • Depends on your definition of comfortable but a light Ute with a lift kit and large A/T tyres is going to bounce around a lot. You'd need to get advice on spring rates and dampers to make it ride well and handle. At a guess I'd say soft is good?

  • Overdrive unit?

    Are you changing the rims?

    Where does the speedo get it drive from? Increasing the rolling radius means speedo will read wrong.
