In a similar vein, Moorhouses are branching out into "craft" beers http://www.moorhouses.co.uk/moorhouses-brewery-steps-shadows-craft-beer-spotlight/ They sound pretty uninspiring which is a shame because their various bitters, and their mild in particular, are very good (although the botanical range sounds more interesting).

Guess that is probably where the money is compared to the traditional bitter though so who can blame them.

Always love a trip to Bison Beers. Picked up a sharer apiece of Moor Old Freddy Walker and Mikkeller To From Via for a trip to Kate's dad's. Gonna be a good evening

Very jealous. I recently tried the Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus at a bar here in Toronto and it was probably the best beer I've ever drunk. I'm going on a trip to Holland and Germany in August so I'm hopeful I'll find more of it!

Tried a few of the Mikkeller Black stouts, all were incredibly disappointing.

Alesmith Speedway on the other hand is damn awesome.
