Best meal in England IMO.
He talks about it in a recent interview for one of the newspaper’s food columns, worth a read.

posh Italian food in London? For a friend's birthday who loves good pasta. Veggie options a bonus.

Bocca di Lupo is good. Not too spendy, good wine list
-
• #1261
Yes it's great. But understandably won't take booking for more than 10 people, due to small kitchen. Thanks tho.

Bancone https://www.bancone.co.uk/ has had some excellent reviews (although I haven't managed to go there yet).

it's fucking astounding, and cheap.
I went for lunch with my dad, enjoyed it so much went back for dinner the same day with my wife, who then went the following day with her friend. Could not recommend it more

Haha I did a similar thing - Saturday lunch then back for dinner
The rabbit ragu is fantastic and a good wine selection.
River Cafe is always worth a mention

Thanks so much for the suggestion. I popped in on the way home from work and managed to book the private room, and have avoided the Christmas menu! Looking forward muchingly.

This was a great recommendation, thank you. 12 people in the private room for the tasting menu + plenty of wine came out at £66 per head.
Anyone have a suggestion for Christmas Eve lunch, central/North?

Dame de Pic London
Stunning food, really creative flavour combinations. Not afraid to have small bits bitter things on a plate to add contrast. Scallops with beetroot pasta were amazing. Welsh lamb with one stick of immaculate asparagus and a patron pepper purée was delightful, the sweetness of the meat being set off by the bitter purée. Signature dish of Mille Feuille was incredible, the technical construction and with a pepper foam.
She is the third generation of her family to hold three Michelin stars and wow does it show.

Also, any recommendations for nice dining in Granada, Spain?
Sat Bains
How the fuck is there such an amazing restaurant in the middle of an industrial estate
So much diversity of texture, flavour, technique and the kitchen is amazingly busy.
