I’m not sure I buy in to the line that they weren’t bought for their profitability. Merely diversifying their portfolio.
Assuming this diversity isn’t profit orientated, the motivator for diversity is to surely seem more like a sport company, of which guns is “just” an element.
In such context a boycott seems an appropriate action, demand for such products won’t just disappear...
