Are you London Lycra Guy?!
-
• #21955
Unlikely, I don't ride in central London any more. I also don't own 3/4 knicks but I do wear Assos, it's just that it's under other shorts normally.
Wait, what am I watching? This seems a bit, um, pervy. Some kind of lycra fetish channel?

Baby I'm Bored
Would buy.
-
• #21957
Oh, read on in the thread and it transpires that I can buy. But I won't.

There's an even easier way to avoid situations like this....never need to give up my bike saddle for a pregnant lady
-
• #21959
Yeah it's a fetish channel https://twitter.com/LondonLycraGuy
Came to my attention when a clubmate was filmed riding around

That's not as weird as the time I was trying to find a picture of photoben riding his photo trailer at the tweed run on google images and instead found a link to this photo of @ChainBreaker : http://amanthing.tumblr.com/post/24586519554/visit-amanthing-hunk-edition-blog
Would though.

Oh, and preparing to leave for work this morning, looking for my Gore-Tex and can’t find it anywhere, before remembering I left it in the Sebright Arms on Friday night after a gig and forgot to pick it up yesterday.
Fucksticks.

Road bike in this kind of weather: wet all over.
Upright bike with mudguards and a jacket (no waterproof trousers): absolutely fine.Unnecessary update: I still love my upright bike.
-
• #21971
I still don't have any guards big enough for the new bike. Probably should fix that.
Or maybe get a big set for the Inbred and turn that into a wet weather beastie. -

This ^^

My Freddie Grubb is currently having mud guards fettled on to it by the nice men in Herne Hill Bicycles.
My worry now is the shoes that I made to ride it with yesterday:
I'm not sure that cutting holes in the soles of a pair of converse with a Swiss army knife, then stuffing in old Sidi soles with a thin in-sole on top will be totally water proof.

Glue them.
You know you want to...

This day gets better and better - someone brought a pack of stroopwafels to the office.
I showed my colleagues the 'put it on your mug of tea' trick.
The Dutch get a lot of things right, don't they?
It rubs the lotion on its skin...
