Is that still a usefulness though? I can imagine when fermenting, "bottling" and stuff wasn't so clean in ye olden days but nowadays with sterilising kit and properly sealed bottles and cans is the antibac in hops actually doing anything?

Probably not but at least it didn't give you cholera, typhoid or dysentery like well water did.
"Well" yeah but my point is we probably don't 'need' that property from hops in beer now.
Fuck it. Nothing we do or consume is doing the planet any good. Time for us all to die.
