What makes you say this ? , I find that Carbon forks soak up a good amount of vibration and obvs they are lighter .
I find steel better at that. I'm also more confident ploughing a steel fork into things (rightly or wrongly). Feels better.
I've only use the two carbon tubes and a crown types though, not monocoque ones like the Niner.
