Finally finished Fallout 4 + DLC after just 2.5 years. Well, I say finished, but finished is an oblique concept with these games. Main quest and loads of side stuff, enough to make me feel satisfied. I'm not going to build settlements or 100% every side mission, although I do enjoy wandering the earth like Kane from Kung Fu, getting into scrapes and blowing supermutants heads off from 500 paces.

I will say, that I picked up Super Monkey Ball for mobile. It uses the tilt sensor for controls. It's one of the rare occurrences where I actually enjoyed a mobile game.

Interesting you say that. FO3 is my favourite game of all time (if you couldn't tell) and I just haven't managed to get into FO4 that much. Bought my Xbox mainly to play Cuphead and FO4 and I've only played FO4 for about three hours. Maybe I just need to get into it a bit more. You can't just pick up and play for half an hour at a time - I think that's the problem. Whereas I've been binging on Skate 3 big time in the last few weeks. If I have only twenty spare minutes, it's perfect.

Ha, first ever third party app I downloaded on my iPod Touch back in 2008. Wow. Time flies.... Scary.

I felt that FO4 was just this generations FO3, didn't see it was much of a revolution, certainly less controversial than New Vegas (which I loved). Thought the missing son storyline was good as it got you into a mission mentality straight away (and then instantly get distracted and taken off somewhere else).
I know what you mean tho, sometimes you gel with these things and sometimes you don't, with big, ponderous RPGs you have to really want to be in the world for it to work, like I recognise the genius of Skyrim but I could never bond with it.

I need a maddeningly addictive offline android game for a long flight home... Any ideas? Left it a bit late, my flight leaves in an hour...

Is Skate 3 the best skateboarding game on the Xbox? Pine for the old days of Tony Hawk, but the latest one got terrible reviews.
Also, having a second playthru of Witcher 3 - the scene where the witchers all get pissed up in the castle, put on dresses and try to make a booty call to some sorceresses is the funniest scene I've seen in videogames.

skate 3
Yes. The graphics haven't aged amazingly (unless you have the 4k upgrade on the One X) but the game play is still great.

THPS5 isn't good, but it's not terrible.
Lots of reviews were based on glitchy gameplay. But I managed to platinum trophy it on PS4 (traded it in soon after though) with no major mishaps (don't remember it glitching at all, just very repetitive and level designs were a bit basic)THPS HD was a riot though, proper old skool, 2 minutes runs and everything.

Ah well, I've just bought Skate 3 - may circle back to THPS afterwards. Hope the soundtrack is as good as the old games - bought dozens of CDs from bands discovered on there.

People still playing PUBG?
Turned my mouse DPI down from 1600 to 800 and it makes aiming soooo much better.
Can't believe I missed out on a chicken dinner last night...

Anyone playing Fortnite? I haven't yet but that it's free and available on mobile appeals. That said the mobile version is apparently naff while the mobile official PUBG they've been testing China and Canada is supposed to be great.

I play fortnite occasionally but I'm terrible at hitting other players. I just treat it as a hide-and-seek simulator and I seem to do ok.

The SNES version of Flashback had the most subtle and intuitive controls of any platform game I've ever played.

And it's now available in the UK. A bit clunky though
