Get some Caffetto/Cafiza or similar espresso cleaner and give it a good soak. Shouldn’t need to scrub

Yup, PulyCaff / Cafiza. Use a good shake of it and fill with boiling water, leave overnight. Might take a couple of goes if its a bit smelly.
My carafe managed an impressive half kilometer on the roof of the car before being jettisoned at a roundabout last week. Still kept us in hot coffee for the journey. Replacement is £55.

Technivormers. How is best to clean the inside of the thermal carafe? I've been using it daily and rinsing between use but thinking it could do with a proper clean. Any tips for scrubbing inside the tight opening? Particular brush brands/styles? Use particular cleaner etc?
