Really? Personation was part of the culture in Ulster, and there is a lot of election fraud in areas with large poorly integrated South Asian populations. It's not enough of a problem that National ID wouldn't be a much bigger one, but it definitely happens.
Nope, you have a card that arrives in the post that you are meant to show when you vote. But most of the time that’s not required.
