How to keep the marble in the bathroom looking good though?
My marble kitchen counter top is little more than a year old, and already looks rougher than your mum's hen do.

Depends where you are an what you want, as with anything. What are you looking for?

Consultation on a project. I have ideas and plans I am happy with but would like a professionals eye on them to check I haven't missed any opportunities. Not expecting owt for nowt either.

Have you tried the RIBA tool for finding an architect?
Otherwise, a local chartered firm is what I would recommend for starters, then maybe a specialist if the project demands it.
