Mrs Hammer is from there and hates it due to the TOWIE factor and rampant keeping-up-with-the-jonesism. I commuted in from there via train for a couple of weeks and it was a miserable 30 mins without a seat.
Nice cinema though.

The ex is going to be in or near Ipswich so Chelmsford seems a good half way point. Manningtree and Colchester are too far into the sticks for me. I figure I can do one day a week working from home and motorbike into work door to door in about 45 minutes so comparable time.
Just worried about the sprog picking up a towie accent/tan

Except that it is in Essex and 30 minutes to Liverpool st. Logistical issues of a separation and the ex heading to Suffolk it looks like a good halfway point
