Don't know, I normally control my cramps and prefer to have them before I go to bed.

It's not really a surprise I think, he's used to racing for an hour at a time, not five.

Those pictures would be near identical of a roadie doing a CX World Champ race for the first time.

If he has enough endurance to get on the podium in a hard, attritional race like that, where he did more than his fair share of work, how will he go in future coming off a dedicated road endurance training program instead of a cyclocross season?

I guess it will be hard for him to hold form through to Flanders and Roubaix this year, but he clearly has the ability to win a lot of classics in future given what we saw today.

Does anyone else think Sagan looks slightly leaner this season? If so, I wonder if that reflects a shift in goals?

Fuck Eurosport. Early evening highlights completely wiped out by snooker (probably with an audience total of about about 45), then due to the track Worlds overrunning we only get to see the last 13k in their later highlights show, followed by a 5 minute Watts style programme of cycling near misses and car crashes.

Sadly I am not surprised.

I know - don't get me wrong I think he did amazingly considering that.

TBH I thought he was looking a little heavier today.. Certainly looked a lot younger minus the facial hair.
