Just got hold of a zipp 3000 but has a nasty crack in the rim edge and would like your opinion on anything that I might be able to do to make it safe to ride. The damage is purely to the outside of the rim.
Ive got some photos on here - flickr.com/photos/110135386@N05/15435216736/in/photostream/
They a bit shit but I hope you get what I mean. Can take some more if you need.
Im hoping some epoxy resin could hold it together?? but I have no idea. Any help/pointers would be much appreciated

I've got a carbon road frame (nothing special) where the BB insert has spun out of the frame, I can get about 1.5mm of movement in it. Any magic resin's that'll fix it? Was going to build it as a commuter.

anyone got a good hook-up for someone who can repair derailer hangers + surrounding areas?
Stacked it on the ice today and the rear end of my Supersix is looking p bad.

Couldn't find a more appropriate thread and didn't want to create a new one so...
I have an old HED disc that has a bit 'fraying'(?) to the carbon around the valve hole. Any idea what I can treat this with to prevent further damage?

Spread a load of 2 part epoxy onto it. Really work it in and be generous.
Let it set reall hard.
Then spend some time sanding it Down.

just starting to dig around this, I see that @HoKe got a frame repaired with LCR (https://londoncarbonrepairs.co.uk/2015/11/14/canyon-slx-4/) which looks almost exactly like my damage. anyone know what sort of price I'd be looking at for this?

Depends on how big the job is, usually around the £100 mark

I saw you posting in here and was wondering if the Look seatpost clamp had broken.
Was gladly disappoint

Thanks. from the photos I suspect it's almost exactly the same as yours. about the size of a £1 coin I think

Anyone used London carbon repairs recently? And vouch for their work.
Can’t see any reviews online (beyond here)

Not London based but we've sent a few frames to http://www.targetcomposites.co.uk and they've been quick, helpful and done really good work. On a cracked seat stay the only evidence I could detect of a repair was the decals not being as raised as on the non repaired side.

I used Carbon Bike Repair, a very generic name but they're legit and did a really good job, so good you would never notice if I don't point it out and even then it's barely visible.
I've heard good things about London Carbon Repairs, I think Ho used them. -

He is still doing repairs, he is just more focus on building carbon frames these days especially with Bespoke around the corner. Give him a call or email he will respond back. Really nice guy with reasonable price compared to Surrey carbon repair. (Just note that this is a repair job and he won’t get the finish/colour to the exact as before).

Yeah perfect. I just want repair. Will email, thanks.
That Surrey place was mad.

Yeah I emailed them, but their price was mad. And I had to have it respeayed too. They do look good, if pricey.
Edit fail. I suck at iPhones
