I want a script that names rides by effort inversely proportional to accomplishment: Buying milk = Nocturnal unmarked-trail ascent of erupting volcano with sprint intervals and a puncture 52x14 .... and visa versa.

You know it was me that created Königsfeld and Bower Lane🥝; what has Amey ever done for Strava?

fin!

Strava is being as glitchy as fuck on on my iphone 8, crashes nearly every ride!
-
• #4456
Morning ride, or Evening ride?
-
• #4457
Now you mention it, always the morning ride.

Anyway of having non actual rides (ie constant stream of shitty indoor trainer rides) to not show in my feed ? Seems no one actually goes outside to ride their bike anymore and actual rides are what I'm interested in.

This and "Stacked Shelves", "Pruned Garden" type activities.

Any idea how I export from Wattbike app to Strava? I’ve enables authorisation but nothing..!?

Accidentally gave a stranger kudos on a race, which is fine, whatever. No actual way to revoke the kudos though, which is fucking stupid and irritating.

Thanks for that btw.

I lost a KOM today. Usual thing, guy going about his business and leaves his Strava running on the drive home.
But this guy is next level. Upon investigation, he uses Strava to log his train journeys. This particular “activity” was a trip to the design museum yesterday.
In fairness he’s now cropped it to remove his drive home.
His avatar is a selfie on a tube station and he’s recorded the engine number and the train time details in the title and then put this link in the description:
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/J60560/2018/03/11/advanced
I know Strava is a natural home for us stat nerds but I think this guy needs help. Has Strava had its day...?

As long as he retitled them he's good with @pastry_bot
-
• #4471
Looking at that link Strava would be pretty useful shows when the train stops etc so easier to record than writing it down. Strava could get a niche market in train spotters
-
• #4472
Agreed. It has uses beyond its original target market. But strava need to do more to segregate the “specialisms.” Was going to say keep the specialists away from the cyclists, but thought better of it...

When did the porn spam bots arrive on Strava?
-
• #4474
This afternoon it seems. I would cut and paste the profile that gave me kudos today but would probably get a ban for it.

Map of all Wetherspoons in the UK that will connect to Strava so you can overlay routes.
I knew there was enough talent around here to make this work.
I'm sure Amey and Ludwig will find a way around it.
