Well I've not ridden 650b but isn't the consensus that it's better than massive 700 tyres as it's lighter, nimbler, and more fashionable?
this is what I found out, 650b x 43/47 felt much better to ride than 700 x 40, I'm not bothered about if its fashionable or not. 29er rolled better over things but lack how nimble 26ers are on tight singletrack - 27.5 is somewhere inbetween.
