  • Yes I may still go that way. I had all the bits and it didn't take long to chuck it together. CDF needs headset and adaptor for the rear brake so more time-consuming.

    Out of interest - any reason why CDF wouldn't be prone to the same pedal strike issues, given that it is also a 700c-based frame?
    I appreciate that it's built more with CX in mind so that may well be a factor. I'll look for some comparison stats but interested in your opinion.

  • CdF BB drop is 73mm. Equilibrium BB drop is... 72mm.

    650b * 1.75" is approximately the same wheel diameter as a 700c * 25mm (discounting tyre pressure) so you're well within tolerance on both bikes I'd say.
