What awareness, can an infant, or child, possibly have of any of those things

None whatsoever.
Also that infant will be deprived of crispy bacon for the duration of its childhood, and be forced to wear a skullcap, and mumble prayers before and after eating, be forced to light candles on Hanukka, and eventually fast on Yom Kippur... I could go on

Though admittedly none of the above is as painful and irreversible as a chopped off foreskin.
