That's ace. Does the Straggler have (semi)-horizontal dropouts?
I spend the afternoon battling a stuck BB with @Vince 's advice and a few days soaking the area in Plusgas.
In the end I used a trigger clamp to hold the tool in place, then applied a big spanner and a bar
After a large amount of grunting, it came free, leaving this on the drive side
And this on the NDS
Note the remnants of the plastic cup I'd drilled away to nothing. The bottom bracket itself had seen better days
But all the threads look OK and should be fine once chased. Can anyone recommend a DIY method? Cutting a groove into an old BB cup so the gunge has somewhere to escape?
