  • excellent colour

  • Beaten to it; awesome colour.

Looks lovely @jonny. According to the internet, it is capable of a staggering 40.8 sec 0-60mph. Nothing like a bit of enforced relaxed motoring...

  • Love it. To think people use the engines from these to make 500s faster!

  • awesome!!! good work JW

  • That's my first car.

  • that car is amazing.

    i wish i had a fucking garage.

  • Yes mate. Nice pair of shades and that'll get 10,000 more looks than any supercar in C London, and it'll probably be 10,000 times more involving and fun to drive about town too.

  • You should see NYC. The parking skill level is ridiculous and the few people with cars that aren't falling apart always have these:

  • I had an ex who'd dad use to do this with an old merc that wouldn't die but couldn't sell.

    (not the filler cap bit)

  • Ian that a car diaper?

  • It wasn't this that prompted the purchase was it? Looks like fun

  • @NurseHolliday What was it you were saying about shades... ^
Also gutted to hear about the MX-5 again!

  • Probably the least authentic Thunderbird,
but it used to cause a faint smile each time I saw it in West Ealing,
    (pre-rear end shunt).

  • Haha I was thinking a suit and nice pair of Persols rather than that gimp

  • They have different names. I'm sure I've seen a few branded "fender defenders" but an image search doesn't bring them up. I think the most common term is bumper pads/protectors.

Plenty of people genuinely use a mild version of that gif as their parking technique. It's like there's some sort of unwritten rule that if you don't have access to private parking in a building you are ok with your car being trashed.

  • I'm really finding my car situation stressful at the moment, I really need to know if this chap wants to buy my car - if so, great, if not, at least I know and can therefore let the chap whose car I'd like to buy know. It's the uncertainty, and that I'm being a pain myself because of it that's frustrating.

  • the struggle is real.

  • I knew someone would understand.

  • We are going to have to be firm with you.

You can't knock a sale back at £1100 under the asking price, then spend £1600 on fitting a £200 steering wheel, even if it fucks with your (mental) internal spreadsheet.

get rid of the ovlov, buy sommat you want and we can all move on. even I am starting to resent that car...

  • I'm only half joking, btw

  • I've offered the 850 for 8k, which was contingent upon the guy letting me know his decision today and completing this week.

  • in other news, I have a new member of my top 5:

    HOWARD RACING BROWN DB6

  • little ronnie james looks well under the weather.

  • cheers for all the props people.

the little Fiat 126 sure is smile inducing. I took a detour via Berkhamstead on the way to London just to take a quick comfort stop and had one guy ask permission to film it. I think people from Poland really like to smile at them.

the one I have though is an original 1976 lhd out of the factory in Monza.

and definitely gives a real driving experience. loved every mile. but won't be doing 90 odd in it again in one go.
