Thanks for the suggestion, I had looked at those but the axon elite was thru axle 150g ish lighter and seemed a bit higher quality. I am keeping an eye on ebay for an 1 1/8 sid to pop up.

Haha, no worries. It is an N.S core, 2013 i think. Bought for my brother to try out m.t.b but he broke his arm badly and packed it in. Only original components now are frame fork and wheels. It is a heavyweight at 30 ish lbs without dropper.

Think you could fit a 38mm tyre with a light knobble in the CXR?

I think you might be able to. I'll take some pics of the clearance with the 40mm g ones.

Just get some xt brakes for the ritchey.

The ritchey ended up with full 11 speed x.t inc brakes.

Thinking about the same 1x groupset that i have on the boardman, deep carbon and slammed.

i have force cx1 shifters going if you are keen

I should have said, I have a cx1 groupset to use if i go that way. I need to have a better look at gear ratios on 1x for the road.

Looking through the Cannondale thread for some inspiration and saw this, which is amost exactly what I have in mind for the Caad 10 when it arrives.

Ha yeah - that was mine - was a bloody awesome bike and set up with 50x11-36 it was perfect for everything but the hilliest of terrains.

Make sure you whack some 30mm Strada Biancha tyres on for full go anywhere yet bastard fast road fun!
