Condor Fratello Disc
I have a calliper one - nice audax bike, except when the audax takes you on a muddy bridlepath and you have to take the wheels off and scrape the mud out of the mudguards. Not a lot of fun on big gravel either - the kind of pebbly stuff you get on a lot of UK ‘gravel’ paths. The disc version spec says 28mm as well, so don’t see how it’ll be much more flexible terrain-wise.

Basically the calipers version is just a traditional British audax bike that only have a tiny bit more clearance than road bike.

Thanks Ed, wouldn’t have figured that one out without you

Don't forget to lower the tyres pressure too.

Glad I managed to bag a Pacer. Looks ok though.

What the fuck? their geometry is actually sensible.

Still stingy with headtube lengths though.

If Planet X updated the Kaffenback to something like this, they'd clean up surely (no pun intended).

Not really, look at the stack instead of headtube length, as they are affected by fork length and BB drop (long fork mean short head tube).

Yet All City manages to squeeze out almost another 20mm of reach in comparable size with their new Gorilla Monsoon. But I guess they bill as more of a touring bike as well.
That's the one I'd have. -

You mean stack?
TBF, it is classed as a road bike, so 580mm of stack on a 56cm frames is decent, closer to an endurance fit (standard would be around 560mm).

white frames are incredibly dull imo
this on the other hand rly nice

You’re right.
I haven’t felt comfortable on classic road geometry and prefer a taller stack. -

Any thoughts on Cannondale Slate?

You convinced me to buy the Pickenflick, now I have a question regarding the wheel size. As I am planning to make it my do-it-all bike for both road and offroad, I intend to get two wheelsets - a road 700c one (road tyres, maybe some 28c GravelKings etc) and an offroad one to easily swap them depending on my plans. Buying the bike I could order a few more bits for the future wheels from PX considering how bargain some of the parts are there.
I read that Pickenflick has 2.0' clearance on 27.5 wheels, so I wonder whether the offroad wheelset should be 650b so I can run e.g. Maxxis Crossmark 1.95 or something similar or should I just stick with a second 700c and grab some 40-42c tyres? As a sidenote, forests where I ride sometimes tend to get quite muddy, especially at time when foresters cut trees with all their heavy machinery, so the typical gravel file-tread tyres are not necessarily a good option for me. -

what's the dif between this and a kona sutra ltd? apart from the fork rake?

tubing and "partybrandness" id guess

Cant tell if the Moots softride gravel bike/MTB abomination thingy at NAHBS is an actual thing, or an epic troll of the total OTT weird shit some builders make for the show to try and stand out from the crowd of already very weird and niche creations....
If for realz, which it obvs is... WTAF.

Ugliest moots I think I've ever seen!
