Top Tip #6969
If you just HAVE to wipe the sweat off your Garmin, don't accidentally push the lap button during a work interval. #bonustraining

^Wouldn't have happened with a sweatband.

^^ Or if you'd covered up your moobs.

I wasn't joking about wanting a Pat Cash sweatband.
Also, it probably would've happened as it was my arm that dropped the sweat on it in the first place.

Where are you mounting your Garmin??

Under the skin, near my pacemaker.

Thumbs up to Zwift customer service. I have been bothered by old injuries mean that I haven't been able to use my turbo trainner, there are other factors too. Anyway, so I sent them a cheeky email asking if I could have some sort of refund for the last couple of months when I have not done a single ride as a goodwill of gesture and they have refunded me the money. Quite happy about it.

Has anyone got a recommendation for a mat to go under a wahoo kickr? Currently it’s straight into an engineered wood floor and is scuffing/marking slightly.
Doesn’t need to be thick, but needs to be about 75cm wide to cover the legs on either side.

I got a fucking huge poly urethane exercise mat (120cm x 180cm) from Amazon for about 12 quid.
The prices of the cycleops/Tacx ones are an utter joke.

Just get a cheap yoga mat.

I use those thick interlocking grey tiles all over my floor. They're about 3x thicker than yoghurt mats so my turbo hasn't cut through them and they're quiet.

Thanks all, think I'm going to go with this - yoga mats are generally too narrow and yoga specific ones also tend to cost more.
I was tempted by this but with delivery it costs a bit more so I'll see what happens with the amazon mat.
It has to go up and down on a daily basis to a mat seems the easiest option.

Or this.
Someone was selling a s/h Wahoo desk on our club forum for £100 or so (I've just checked, they're £200 new). Proper joke.

Just started Zwifting in earnest and I'm finding that my setup/saddle, which is fine when out on the road, is really uncomfortable after any meaningful duration on the turbo.. Thinking that the lack of body movement isn't helping.
Anyone else encountered this? -
• #1670
Yes, it's because you don't move around when you're sat on the turbo.
A: Move around more. Stand up, readjust, shuffle.

yoghurt mats
Is this some sort of jizz towel? Never needed one but maybe I’m not doing the turbo right.

You don't do yoghurt? It's really good. I mean, I call it 'stretching' and do it for free but you can be told how to breathe at the same time in a hot yoghurt room for £60 per hour.

Where can I get a cool 80s tennis headband from before tonight?
It's just the layout of the room.
I've jammed what would be 'fan corner' with wheels and stuff so it fits better behind me.
