  • Would that necessarily involve buying it for £150 or so?

  • No idea how much it is to buy these days, I have it through my Adobe CC subscription.

  • I've not used it but Darktable is meant to be good (and free).

If you're looking at something on a Chromebook then probably Polarr is the best option.

  • Another lightroom q - haven't used it for ages but used to do a lot in it. What's the deal with the new cloud version? I've got my libraries on the old desktop version (only stopped using it last year so would have been cc17 or something) backuped somewhere. Presume cloud has same functionality? Or have they hobbled it so you need to use both?

  • Why not use Snapseed? It’s free as in beer. Edit - sorry, thought there was a PC version. Might be wrong on that. Re-edit. Yeah, getting mixed up with Picasa, which they've ditched. My bad.

  • Ok, who can recommend a backpack for carrying a graflex 5x4 with Aero Ektar lens , 6 film holders, a dark cloth, a roll back and a big tripod. I'm thinking the type that the back zips open to reveal the contents.

  • I like the Maxpedition range, very tough although a little rambo-esque looking.
No idea what the volume of your list is, but they have a range of sizes, all of (most of?) which open fully. I like how adaptable they are. I travel with my Pygmy Falcon-II and I find it very comfortable to carry, pack and find my stuff in.

  • Ideal for a Bronica.

  • My digital camera got soaked from a leaking water bottle, water got inside. Doesn't turn on. I've checked and charged the battery, still nothing. Its in a tupperware box full of rice on the radiator. Any other suggestions?

  • Newton ellis liverpool ? Cycle friendly .@moocher

  • I already have this one.

  • Just came across this - haven't tried it, but it's free.

  • Giving serious thought to selling my X-Pro2 and 18 and 35 lens to get an X100F. Smaller package with the focal length that I prefer. Of course, I could buy the 23, but like the smaller form factor of the X100F.
On another note, how do people carry cameras around when riding about?

  • I'm considering selling my fuji x100T - just had it a year and barely used it. Its an amazing little thing. Its just my photog skills suck and looking for something a bit easier/more auto features for travelling/riding around.

I keep my camera in my carradice!

  • So, I'm shooting a wedding in March, for the vast majority of the day I'm happy to shoot the Df and 50mm F1.4D and my wife will be (wo)manning the OM-D E-M1 and either 14 or 20mm for candid shots of the guests.

I'm thinking the only time my movement will be limited is during the actual ceremony, this is indoors in a large reception room. Hit me with your zoom recommendations for the Df.

  • There is the Nikkor AFD 35-105 f3.5-4.5 which is great on a D700 or D4/5. I assume it’ll work well on a Df.

I would go for af for a wedding zoom.

Pretty sure there are newer f2.8 zoomz I know nothing about though.

  • Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 G2..... this look good, now to find a second hand copy

  • As my new camera is on the way to my place and I lost my old SD card about the time I broke my old camera, is there any reason to go for a full size SD instead of a mSD card?
Especially if the mSD card is 2 € cheaper (15 € for mSD and 17 € for SD, both 32~GB). I'm comparing SanDisk Ultra SDHC I ones.

  • I assume transfer speeds differ?

  • Could be interested if you do

  • The mSD does 98 MB/s whereas the SD does 80 nominally. Which is something I didn't expect

  • I'd go for fast zooms so 24-70mm 2.8 & 14-24mm 2.8 but both quite heavy on the Df.
35-70mm is also quite sharp and relatively cheap.
