Not in '75. No GM cars were FWD until the 80s AFAIK.
I had the same long block V8 in my '77 Olds and the short block 350 version on 3 different cars a '68 Olds Cutlass, a '79 Monte Carlo and an '85 GMC pick up. They are good solid engines and pretty bullet proof. A carb rebuild and a new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor solve most issues. Crank shafts can be a bitch but the quality of the 70s versions were better than the 80s by some margin.
