This is the other problem. I look at a new 2 litre Skoda, I look at the price paid over 3 years, then I can't help but look at what that money would buy in the 15 year old RS6 mould.
This is why I've ended up with a permanent search for a 550i M Sport Touring on eBay.

Why prioritise performance in an estate, especially when you have a 911 specced to your exact standards? Isn't a sporty estate a compromise that someone who doesn't have space in their life for a proper performance car needs to make?
My 2.0l v90 starts every time, has tonnes of space, carries bikes, has an interior you want to spend time in, leaves you feeling as fresh as a daisy after an 8 hour drive, and has just enough oomph to comfortably get up to speed when I enter the motorway and keep me at 90mph (if I was on the autobahn) for the duration.
