Basically, the movement ring was turned 180 degrees.”.... is a reference to comments which I made. Look closely at the brass ring for two other marks. However, I’m not convinced this brass ring could be rotated by 180 degrees as there is usually a cut-out in the ring for the stem to pass through...

  • The movement ring can easily be rotated 180 degrees as it has a slot for the stem and an additional slot on the opposite side to be retained within the middle case.
