Thanks man, yeah I haven't quite got the positioning right on them.. I know the bottom of the bar is generally horizontal from what I've seen, but it feels like it may be comfier with them even angled slightly upwards? There aren't a huge amount of photos I've seen with them to see how other people ride with them

I subscribe to the #Tijs_approved method of pointing the ends towards the brake bridge

Rejigged my frankenbike with new stem, some changes to the headset, different saddle and a set of tyres. What next? Black seatpost, black fork? Stem is a bit too upright for my tastes but it was the only one that fit in the bike recycling shop place. And the bars/levers are wonky.

Sorry for dark photos, I was putting the bits on this evening and just went for a quick ride in the car park to check everything works.

I have ridden this a lot.

Handmade, probably some square steel tubes welded together.

Probably weighs as much as the frame. Looks like it would fuck a car up in a collision though :-)

I'm having trouble imagining what it's like to ride a brakeless fixed gear with Bosco bars... seems like it'd be just a bit too upright...

I thought exactly the same thing till I tried it. It kinda works really well. When you see photos of old fixed safety bicycles with barely functioning or no brakes and that was their steez.. Its fun.
