@PhilPub good shout on the rower, used to do a little on the machine but not in a good while ... Should have mentioned I do a bit of yoga too which helps with flexibility and a bit of strength.
@frankenbike yeah I definitely do this! On longer runs I try to do the mental check like you describe but often forget!
