There are websites that will give you the code (for a small fee) if you enter the radio's serial number. Had to do this on my Audi,was a bit wary but worked fine. Less than £5 if I recall.

Did exactly that, worked a treat.

My volvo cranked but would not fire this morning, so that was annoying.
